Kindred Recruitment is looking for an exceptional Head of Content and Customer Advocacy to join a fast-growing SaaS business at the intersection of AI and Business Process Optimisation. This is a senior, high-impact role for an experienced content marketer who wants to define a category narrative, build a content engine from scratch and directly influence revenue growth.
Joining as a senior individual contributor (IC), your mandate will be to build and own the entire content strategy end to end from scratch. You will have the autonomy to design how content works across the business, establish a customer advocacy programme, and ensure content plays a central role in educating the market, strengthening brand awareness and driving conversion throughout the sales funnel.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for a seasoned B2B storyteller who thrives in high-growth environments and enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery. You will work closely with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Sales and Customer teams to ensure content is purposeful, measurable and commercially impactful. While experience in Business Process Management is preferred, my client is open to strong SaaS content leaders who can quickly grasp complex products and translate them into compelling, customer-centric stories.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Define and own the content strategy from scratch, aligned to business goals, brand positioning and the buyer journey.
- Build a scalable content framework that supports awareness, consideration, conversion and retention, linking content directly to the sales funnel.
- Establish and run a customer advocacy programme, including case studies, testimonials, peer stories, reviews, references and customer-led thought leadership.
- Create and oversee high-quality content across multiple formats and channels, including:
- Editorial and long-form thought leadership
- Website content (WordPress)
- Social and community content
- Video and multimedia storytelling
- Webinars, virtual events and newsletters
What We’re Looking For
- Significant experience in B2B SaaS content marketing, ideally at a senior or head-of level.
- A proven ability to build and execute content and brand strategies that support growth and revenue.
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex technology and processes.
- Experience creating content across the full funnel, from brand awareness through to customer advocacy and retention.
- Hands-on knowledge of SEO, with experience driving organic growth through content.
- Working familiarity with Marketo for content-led campaigns, nurture programmes and performance tracking.
- Experience managing and publishing content via WordPress.
- Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
- Experience or knowledge of Business Process Management, Process Mining, Business Transformation is highly desirable, otherwise SaaS experience will be considered.
