My client is a specialist provider of culture change and employee wellbeing solutions, partnering with organisations to transform engagement, performance and workforce connection. With demand for strategic people solutions continuing to grow, they are expanding their commercial team and seeking a highâcalibre Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and build longâterm, highâvalue partnerships. This is a consultative, solutionâled sales role â not transactional selling.
The Role
You will take full ownership of the new business cycle, from targeted prospecting through to close and ongoing account development. Selling into HR, People, Wellbeing, Health & safety and Culture leaders, you will lead insightâdriven conversations around organisational performance, engagement and behavioural change. Working closely with marketing, you will convert qualified inbound leads while proactively building pipeline through intelligent outbound activity. You will be comfortable navigating multiâstakeholder environments, shaping proposals and articulating measurable commercial value. Once clients are secured, you will nurture and grow those relationships, positioning my client as a trusted partner in longâterm culture transformation.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate substantial, relevant solution sales experience within a comparable environment â such as wellbeing, culture change, HR services, EAP, L&D or consultancyâled offerings. You will:
- Have a strong track record of winning and growing new business in a targetâdriven environment
- Be confident leading consultative, valueâled sales conversations with senior stakeholders
- Understand longer, multiâtouch sales cycles and complex buying processes
- Be commercially astute and able to clearly position ROI and strategic impact
- Bring resilience, credibility and genuine interest in organisational transformation
- Experience using LinkedIn for prospecting and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) is expected.
