London – Hybrid

This is not a “keep the engine running” marketing role. This is an opportunity to own a modern B2B marketing function at the intersection of cloud, connectivity, AI and digital infrastructure — shaping how some of the world’s most ambitious organisations modernise and scale.

My client is an established global network and cloud services provider delivering mission-critical solutions across multiple verticals including Financial Services, AI, Manufacturing and enterprise technology. As they enter their next phase of growth, they are looking for a commercially minded, entrepreneurial Head of Marketing to help define their market position and accelerate demand generation globally.

You will work directly with the CEO and COO, playing a highly visible leadership role in shaping growth strategy, brand positioning and go-to-market execution. This is a rare opportunity for someone who wants genuine ownership, influence and the chance to build something significant.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Defining and executing a modern B2B marketing strategy aligned to ambitious growth targets
  • Developing disruptive, highly targeted messaging and campaigns tailored to key vertical markets (finance, manufacturing, AI)
  • Driving pipeline generation and brand visibility across multiple global markets
  • Building a scalable marketing engine using the latest AI-powered tools, automation platforms and intelligent workflows
  • Managing and optimising an outsourced marketing team and specialist partners
  • Working closely with sales leadership to improve lead quality, conversion and account penetration
  • Creating compelling positioning for complex technology solutions across cloud, networking, connectivity and AI infrastructure
  • Bringing creativity, experimentation and measurable performance into every campaign
  • Leveraging modern marketing technology, AI agents and automation to improve efficiency and scale
  • Helping shape the company’s long-term commercial strategy as part of the senior leadership team

What We’re Looking For

  • You’re commercially sharp, strategically minded and highly execution-focused.
  • You are equally comfortable discussing market positioning with the CEO as you are launching campaigns, refining messaging or analysing performance data.
  • You likely have:
  • 3–4+ years in a senior B2B technology marketing role
  • Experience within cloud, SaaS, connectivity, infrastructure, managed services or enterprise technology
  • A strong understanding of modern demand generation and account-based marketing
  • Experience managing agencies, outsourced teams or distributed marketing functions
  • Hands-on expertise with marketing automation, CRM and AI-driven marketing tools
  • The ability to translate complex technical solutions into compelling commercial messaging
  • A growth mindset with the energy and ambition to allow the business to continue to scale
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Why This Role?

Because this role offers far more than title progression. You will have direct access to executive leadership, influence over business strategy and the freedom to modernise how a global technology company goes to market. You’ll join at a pivotal stage of growth where your impact will be visible, measurable and valued. For the right person, this is a career-defining opportunity to build a world-class marketing function in one of the most exciting areas of enterprise technology. If you want autonomy, influence, pace and the opportunity to shape the future of a scaling global tech business — we’d love to hear from you.
