Surrey head office, with regular travel to venues across the UK. Onsite working – ad hoc working from home at Manager’s discretion.
Love great creative, brilliantly delivered across multiple brands? Do you keep the creative engine running? Could you brief an agency in the morning, steer a designer back on-brand by lunchtime and pick the right AI tool for the job by the afternoon, while still hitting every deadline? This is an exciting opportunity to lead creative and content production for a fast-growing UK leisure and entertainment operator. Its family of brands spans outdoor pursuits, sport, competitive socialising, active family adventure and fitness, with venues designed to bring people of all ages together to play. The business has ambitious growth plans and is investing in raising the quality and consistency of everything it puts in front of customers.
The opportunity
Reporting into the Head of Brand you’ll lead creative production standards across campaigns, venue collateral and digital assets for every brand in the portfolio. You’ll direct in-house Content Producers and a roster of external creative, brand, artwork and AI production agencies. You’ll also work alongside the Proposition To Market Manager and the acquisition and CRM teams to make sure great ideas become great work, on time and on brand.
In practice, that means:
- Running the creative traffic. You’ll own the production pipeline, from briefing and scheduling through reviews and approvals to delivery, with multiple projects and brands moving at once.
- Being the guardian of each brand. Every brand has its own personality. You’ll keep designers and agencies in the right brand lane, so each asset looks and feels unmistakably like the brand it belongs to.
- Partnering with strategic agencies. You’ll work with a creative strategy agency on projects such as brand guidelines, and then make sure those guidelines are applied consistently.
- Putting AI to work. You’ll choose the right AI tools for each task, use them hands‑on, and help the team and agencies produce more, faster, without compromising quality.
- Raising the bar. You’ll keep improving creative quality, workflow and efficiency across the portfolio.
You’ll also spend time out at the venues, so you understand how creative works in the real world, from on‑site signage to a social post.
Who will thrive here?
An agency background could be an excellent fit, particularly if you’ve managed multiple projects across different brands at the same time. Equally, you may have led creative production in‑house within a multi‑brand business.
You must have:
- Proven experience leading creative or content production and traffic management across multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience managing creative output for multiple brands, keeping each true to its own guidelines.
- Experience briefing and directing external creative, artwork or production agencies.
- Hands‑on experience using AI tools in creative production, with the judgement to select the right tool for each task.
- A strong creative eye and the confidence to give clear, constructive feedback to designers.
- Excellent organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly to venues across the portfolio.
You’ll be organised, decisive and calm under pressure. You’ll also bring energy and a collaborative approach, and you’ll genuinely enjoy seeing great creative come to life.
Why consider this role?
This is a chance to put your stamp on the creative output of a portfolio of much‑loved leisure brands at a time of real growth. You’ll have a visible, influential role at the heart of the marketing team. You’ll also have scope to shape how creative is produced, how agencies are used and how AI is adopted across the business. If you love bringing order to creative chaos and making brands look their best, we’d love to hear from you.
