The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
The role involves supporting the wider finance team to drive financial clarity and support strategic decision-making across the business. You will assist with the preparation of financial review material, provide insightful financial analysis driving key business decisions, and manage our budgeting and forecasting tool.
This role requires a strong blend of systems ownership, analytical capability, and the ability to clearly communicate financial performance and key drivers to both finance and non-finance audiences.
What you will do:
- Analyse financial data to identify key drivers, trends, and risks.
- Assist in the preparation of high-quality, quarterly, monthly, and weekly presentation-ready materials for commercial reviews, finance leadership, and executive meetings.
- Provide clear commentary on performance, identifying drivers and business impacts, and partner with the wider finance team to understand underlying causes and assumptions.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis in line with wider business needs.
- Act as the key point of contact for our planning tool, Workday Adaptive Planning, responsible for the integrity of the platform including user management, data reconciliation with other finance systems, and minor enhancements.
- Assist the wider finance team in budgeting/forecasting processes by ensuring models, formulas, dimensions, and versions are accurate and functional.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to our budgeting tool; providing support for the team's queries and setting user expectations appropriately.
- Provide user support and documentation; manage tickets and change requests through change control.
- Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you.
- Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or if the requirements are unclear.

Your experience:
Required (essential) skills and experience:
- Qualification in Finance or Accounting.
- 1-2 years of experience in FP&A.
- Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, large dataset handling, reconciliations).
- Strong PowerPoint skills and experience preparing executive-level slides.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Prior experience with Adaptive Planning, HFM, Oracle, Qlik Sense, PowerBI.
- Multi-entity or global planning model experience.
