We are seeking a dependable and responsible cleaner to join our team, working on a school site based in Old Buckenham NR17 1RH.

Monday – Friday: 16:00 to 19:00

25 hours per week, £11.44 p/h

39 weeks (term time) per year + 4 weeks deep cleaning in school holidays (dates to be arranged).

The role includes being responsible for cleaning classrooms, toilets, and common areas. There is a requirement to be able to follow instructions from a supervisor and work safely on your own for periods of time. Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to our satisfaction. This is a criminal background check to make sure you are permitted to work on our sites.

Job Responsibilities

· Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with established protocols and standards, ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene in schools and businesses.

· Use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals safely and effectively, following set guidelines.

· Comply with all health and safety regulations following UK Health & Safety Laws and adhere to Kindred’s policies and procedures, actively participating in creating a safe and inclusive work environment.

· Carry out routine cleaning duties. Such duties will include dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, emptying rubbish bins, and sanitising surfaces, changing of items such as toilet paper, and hand soap, while being mindful of diverse needs and potential sensitivities., · Full training in all aspects of the cleaning will be provided.

· To be able to complete all your allocated cleaning tasks to the required standards within your set working hours.

· To be able to understand and follow health & safety instructions.

· Communication skills in English, although English is not required to be a first language.
