Our role as a Contract Manufacturer is one we are incredibly proud of and is one which allows us to be at the forefront of new manufacturing technologies and processes, bringing lifesaving products to patients worldwide.
We are currently looking for driven and enthusiastic individuals to join our Multi-skilled Engineer Apprenticeship Programme based at our facility in Loughborough, Leicestershire. This is an excellent opportunity to gain training and support across multiple engineering disciplines, whilst earning a qualification to enhance your career.
Key Responsibilities- Work with Plant Engineers to provide electrical and mechanical maintenance engineering services across the manufacturing & support areas.
- Support the inspecting, diagnosing, and fixing both electrical and mechanical faults, to ensure the smooth running of production lines and equipment.
- Work with Plant Engineers to provide planned and emergency maintenance support.
- Support with the planned and preventative maintenance for site utilities.
- Support breakdown issues and resolution.
- Gain hands‑on experience identifying and diagnosing issues in machinery working with advanced tools and techniques.
- Ensure all engineering activities are carried out to the necessary standard complying with Safety, cGMP & company requirements.
- Work with Module Technicians to gain experience within the value streams.
- Punctually attend college and successfully complete allocated courses.
- Successfully complete BTEC / NVQ qualifications aligned with the opportunity.
- Maths & English GCSE grade C/grade 4 or above.
- A keen interest in engineering and technology.
- A passion for working with both hands‑on and theoretical knowledge.
- Good organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Enthusiastic, flexible, conscientious and proactive in approach.
- To work efficiently with supervision.
- Take a positive approach to own training and development.
- Good communication and teamworking skills.
