The Impact You Will Make:
Working as part of a team responsible for the testing and development of new inhalation pharmaceutical products as part of a successful CDMO organisation. In this role you will carry out analytical testing compliant within GMP regulations, produce laboratory investigation reports and input to protocol design to deliver robust data and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct and document analytical testing following cGMP requirements, delivering to plan on time in full.
- Ensure quality of data delivered is fit for purpose, whilst working in a fast, flexible environment, with a strong focus on right first time.
- Resolve technical problems by examination and evaluation of data and progression of laboratory investigations.
- Represent the department in a professional manner as and when required, when interacting with both internal/external customers and regulators.
- Establish continuous improvement as part of normal everyday work.
- Promote a “safety first” culture and environment.
- Raise and report any safety incidents as required.
- Complete Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA) closures on time and in full.
Skills & Experience:
- Degree qualified (or higher) in a relevant scientific discipline with practical laboratory elements.
- Good understanding of GMP and GLP.
- Experience in pharmaceutical product testing is preferable.
- Testing and/or knowledge of pressurised metered dose inhalers is preferable.
- Method development and validation of analytical methods is desirable.
- Knowledge of Analytical Chemistry and its practical application.
- Working knowledge of HPLC is essential.
- Working knowledge of other analytical instrumentation, preferably GC, MS, UPLC & UV.
- Understanding of basic statistics and experimental design is desirable.
- Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
