Due to significant changes in the marketplace, Kindeva is currently going through a period of substantial growth and we are looking for talented individuals to join our Loughborough team.
We are currently looking for driven and enthusiastic individuals to join our Multi-skilled Engineer Apprenticeship Programme based at our facility in Loughborough, Leicestershire. This is an excellent opportunity to gain training and support across multiple engineering disciplines, whilst earning a qualification to enhance your career.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work with Plant Engineers to provide electrical and mechanical maintenance engineering services across the manufacturing & support areas.
- Support the inspecting, diagnosing, and fixing both electrical and mechanical faults, to ensure the smooth running of production lines and equipment.
- Work with Plant Engineers to provide planned and emergency maintenance support.
- Support with the planned and preventative maintenance for site utilities.
- Support breakdown issues and resolution.
- Gain hands-on experience identifying and diagnosing issues in machinery working with advanced tools and techniques.
- Ensure all engineering activities are carried out to the necessary standard complying with Safety, cGMP & company requirements.
- Work with Module Technicians to gain experience within the value streams.
- Punctually attend college and successfully complete allocated courses.
- Successfully complete BTEC / NVQ qualifications aligned with the opportunity.
Key Capabilities:
- Maths & English GCSE grade C/grade 4 or above.
- A keen interest in engineering and technology.
- A passion for working with both hands-on and theoretical knowledge.
- Good organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Enthusiastic, flexible, conscientious and proactive in approach.
- To work efficiently with supervision.
- Take a positive approach to own training and development.
- Good communication and teamworking skills.
- Strong team player.
