We seek an experienced MIG & TIG Welder / Fabricator. The job role covers completing customer fabrication jobs, fabrication installation work will vary at work premises and remote site installation. Full-time – Permanent / Self employed 40 Hours Per Week – Basic + Overtime Job role responsibilities: • To support the engineering team when completing jobs. • To contribute to the efficient running of the engineering department. • Manufacturing customer orders to a high standard. • Operating welding equipment. • Cleaning tools and work areas. • Follow all health and safety procedures and report any potential hazards. • Using cutting and hand tools as required • To manufacture parts to the required specification. • To complete site maintenance, fabrication and equipment installation. • To communicate effectively with customers and team. • Previous experience in mechanical and site maintenance. (Advantage not essential). Essential requirements: • Full driving license. • Previous experience in welding and fabrication (specifically MIG and TIG skills). • To be able to read and interpret engineering drawings. • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. • To be self-motivated and have a can-do attitude. • Reliable and punctual. A weld test will be conducted as part of the recruitment process for you to demonstrate essential skills.
