Kinderland Day Nurseries is a family‑run establishment that has been offering high‑quality childcare in Croydon since 1995. At Kinderland we create an environment where children are happy, engaged, safe, and healthy. While we have two wonderful buildings and excellent resources, we firmly believe that our staff are our greatest asset and have the most significant impact on our children\’s lives.
Main Responsibilities
- Use the EYFS to help children grow into the best little people they can be.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with parents and carers; use open dialogue and give regular feedback to support families.
- Look after every aspect of a child’s personal care needs each day, keeping them happy, safe, stimulated, and ensuring they have fun learning with us.
- Create and maintain an innovative learning space where children can explore and learn every day; look after quality resources and both outdoor and indoor spaces.
- Promote a healthy lifestyle for all children, encouraging them at meal and snack times while ensuring plenty of time for active play.

We have both full‑time and part‑time roles available.
Our nursery is situated in Central Croydon, with convenient transport links to East Croydon Station, South Croydon Station, and West Croydon Station. The nearest tram stops are George Street Tram Stop, Wellesley Road Tram Stop, and East Croydon Tram Stop. We are also conveniently located for many bus routes.
Safeguarding
We have designated persons within the nursery who take lead responsibility for safeguarding and coordinate child protection and welfare issues, known as the Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL). There is always at least one designated person on duty during opening hours. All applicants should be aware that a large part of the role is ensuring children are continuously safeguarded from any harm. Any job offers will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, thorough referencing, an induction programme, and a 3‑month probation period. All successful candidates will receive extensive training upon starting.
