Kinderland is growing! We are seeking fun, kind, and caring Level 3 Practitioners with a genuine passion for Early Years to join our sister day nursery, opened January 2025. Main Responsibilities:
- Using the EYFS to help children grow into the best little people they can be.
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with parents and carers.
- Using open dialogue and giving regular feedback to support families with little ones in our care ensuring well-being for all.
- Looking after every aspect of a child’s personal care needs each day, keeping them happy, safe, stimulated, and making sure they have fun learning with us.
- Creating and maintaining an innovative learning space where children can explore and learn every day.
- Promoting a healthy lifestyle for all children, encouraging and supporting them at meal and snack times whilst also ensuring they have lots of time for active play.

To be considered for the Early Years Practitioner role you must have a relevant Level 3 childcare qualification, good knowledge of the EYFS, but someone who is newly qualified and interested in advancement in childcare will also be considered. We are looking for someone who has:

We have both full-time & part-time roles available. Our nursery is situated in Central Croydon, with convenient transport links to East Croydon Station, South Croydon Station, and West Croydon Station. The nearest tram stops are George Street Tram Stop, Wellesley Road Tram Stop, and East Croydon Tram Stop. We are also conveniently located for many bus routes.
Safeguarding:
We have named persons within the nursery who take lead responsibility for safeguarding and coordinate child protection and welfare issues, known as the Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL). There is always at least one designated person on duty during the opening hours of the setting. All applicants should be aware that a huge part of the role is ensuring children are continuously safeguarded from any harm. Any job offers will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, thorough referencing, an induction programme, and a 3 months’ probation period. All successful candidates will be given lots of training upon starting their role.
