Salary: £41,935 per annum

Term Time

Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (hours negotiable for the right candidate – pro rata)

Start Date: September 2026

Someone who can turn a cardboard box into a rocket ship in under 5 minutes. They have a secret talent for storytelling, silly voices, or spontaneous dancing and believes outdoor learning should involve mud at least 73% of the time.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead learning within our preschool room, helping children develop the skills, confidence and independence they need before moving on to Reception. They will be responsible for planning engaging activities, supporting children’s development, monitoring progress and working closely with families to ensure every child reaches their full potential. The role also involves directing a team, supporting colleagues, and creating exciting learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, exploration and a love of learning.

Qualifications

Experience teaching in a UK primary school and a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, play-based learning, and school readiness.
