Nursery Chef in South Croydon

We are looking for a friendly Chef with experience who has a passion for nutrition and excellence in the kitchen to join our well-established Nursery in South Croydon.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create inspiring menus for under 5's
• Prepare delicious nutritious meals
• Keep the kitchen clean and beautifully organised
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans
• Meet high quality hygiene standards
• Complete training and continuous professional development

About Us:

The vision of Kinderland Day Nurseries is to provide an environment where children are happy, stimulated, safe and healthy. We have two lovely buildings and fantastic resources but truly believe that our staff are the best resource and make the biggest difference in our children's lives! We are based in Central Croydon, Greater London and are a family-run Nursery. Our nurseries pride themselves on the exceptional level of quality care it provides for young children aged between 3 months to 5 years. Designated Safeguarding Lead:

We have named persons within the nursery who take lead responsibility for safeguarding and coordinate child protection and welfare issues, known as the Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL). There is always at least one designated person on duty during the opening hours of the setting. All applicants should be aware that a huge part of the role is ensuring children are continuously safeguarded from any harm. Any job offers will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, thorough referencing, an induction programme, and a 3 months’ probation period. All successful candidates will be given lots of training upon starting their role.
