The vision of Kinderland Day Nursery is to provide an environment where children are happy, stimulated, safe and healthy. We have a lovely building and fantastic resources but truly believe that our staff are the best resource and make the biggest difference in our children's lives! We are looking for a fun, kind and caring Level 3 Practitioner who has a real passion for the Early Years to join our lovely, well-established private day nursery. If that's you we would love to hear from you! We are based in South Croydon, Greater London and are a family run Nursery that has been open since 1995.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Doing the invaluable job of using the EYFS to help children grow into the best little people they can be!
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with parents and carers.
  • Using open dialogue and giving regular feedback so that we can support families with little ones in our care ensuring well-being for all.
  • Looking after every aspect of a child’s personal care needs each day. Keeping them happy, safe, stimulated and making sure they have fun learning with us!
  • Creating and maintaining an innovative learning space where children can explore and learn every day! Looking after our quality resources and both outdoor/indoor space.
  • Promoting a healthy lifestyle for all children encouraging and supporting them at meal and snack times whilst also ensuring they have lots of time for active play!

To be considered for the Early Years Practitioner role you must have a relevant Level 3 childcare qualification, good knowledge of the EYFS but someone who is newly qualified and interested in advancement in child care will also be considered.

The role is Monday - Friday work shifts (43.75 hours p/w).

  • Package includes annual leave allowance of up to 31 days plus bank holidays, competitive salary!

Safeguarding

We have named persons within the nursery who take lead responsibility for safeguarding and co-ordinate child protection and welfare issues, known as the Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL), there is always at least one designated person on duty during the opening hours of the setting. All applicants should be aware that a huge part of the role is ensuring children are continuously safeguarded from any harm. Any job offers will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, thorough referencing, an induction programme, and 3 months’ probation period. All successful candidates will be given lots of training upon starting their role.
