Professional Nanny – Notting Hill / Kensington, London

Salary: £60,000 – £80,000+ (Depends on experience, qualifications and skills)

We are delighted to support one of our long-standing returning families in their search for an exceptional nanny. This is a warm, welcoming and fun household, yet also a busy one, and they are seeking a highly capable, confident and loving nanny who brings both structure and joy to the children’s daily lives. The family also employs a housekeeper. You will work collaboratively within this small team, with primary responsibility for their youngest child, a delightful and well-behaved 6-year-old girl. The family has 2 older children (10 & 12) who take the coach to school and back and are away all day. The family places the highest value on kindness, trustworthiness, reliability, and a genuine ability to build strong, positive relationships with the children.

The nanny will take full charge of the little girl’s daily routine and wellbeing, ensuring a nurturing, stimulating and developmentally supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily care and full routine management for the 6-year-old girl
  • Nursery/school drop-off and pick-up
  • Managing her after-school schedule, activities and playdates
  • Supporting her social development and friendships
  • Planning age-appropriate educational and creative activities
  • Light organisational tasks relating to the child (bedroom, playroom, clothing)
  • Occasional care and more during holidays for the older brothers
  • Working collaboratively with household staff
  • Travelling with the family during school holidays (Germany, Mallorca, English countryside)
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Warm, positive, energetic and genuinely passionate about childcare
  • Confident taking full responsibility for the children’s wellbeing and routine
  • Highly reliable, organised and proactive
  • Fun, creative and enthusiastic about exploring new activities with the little girl
  • Experienced with children aged approximately 6 – 13 years
  • Knowledgeable about early years development and bilingual learning
  • A strong communicator and a supportive team player
Requirements:
  • Fluent English (German speaking would be amazing)
  • Strong childcare experience with relevant age groups
  • Driving licence
  • Able to travel internationally during school holidays
  • Based within a reasonable commute to Notting Hill / Kensington
Working Hours & Salary:
  • Full-time position, 30 hours per week, more during school holidays.
  • Occasional weekend support appreciated
  • Salary £65,000 – £80,000+, depending on experience and agreed hours

The family owns beautiful homes in Germany and Balearics, where they spend school holidays. Nannies enjoy excellent accommodation and access to the properties’ amenities, including swimming pool, tennis court, gardens and countryside activities. This is a highly enjoyable role for a nanny who loves travel and an active lifestyle.
