A welcoming family of four in Notting Hill seeks an experienced, nurturing and highly organised nanny to support their two daughters (6 and 9) in a long-term position. Both parents work from home, creating a calm but lively household, and they are hoping to find someone who will become a trusted, steady presence in their children’s daily lives. The family also have a gentle golden retriever, so comfort with dogs is essential.

The Role at a Glance

  • Hours: Term time: Monday – Thursday, 12:00pm – 6:30pm (26 hours/week); School holidays: Monday – Thursday, 9:00am – 6:30pm (38 hours/week)
  • The blended annual average works out at approximately 29 hours/week, paid as a flat monthly salary so income stays consistent year-round.
  • Term time: School drop-off, household support during school hours, school pick-up, afternoon care through to bedtime.
  • School holidays: Full days with the children at home.
  • Household support: Deliveries, errands, light household admin and organisational tasks during school hours.
  • Daily duties: All standard nursery duties including children’s laundry, meal prep, and maintaining tidy, organised children’s spaces.
  • Occasional extras: Evening babysitting (with notice) and occasional family travel.

  • Professional with parents, warm with children, and comfortable maintaining healthy boundaries.
