This is a full time live out nanny housekeeper position based in Kensington, W8. The family have three children aged four years, two years and three months. The role is to start as soon as possible and offers guaranteed hours with additional paid extras. The working hours total 50 hours per week.
Mornings will focus on helping with school drop offs and maintaining the home to a high standard, including general housekeeping and family laundry. A separate cleaner may attend for weekly deep cleaning. In the afternoons, the role becomes more child focused, supporting the children at home and out, following their routine, collecting them from school, taking them to activities and play dates, preparing family meals and creating a warm, engaging environment that supports their development.
The family are looking for someone reliable and flexible, who is happy to babysit twice per week and occasionally stay overnight, paid at an additional rate. The role also requires flexibility to travel internationally with the family for two to four weeks across school holidays, with an extra nightly rate provided. The family will employ 2 nannies to look after their 3 children.
Requirements:
- Strong ability to create a nurturing, safe, happy environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Punctual, reliable, and legally able to work in the UK
- Current valid Enhanced DBS - on the DBS update service
- Current Paediatric First Aid certificate
- Right to work in UK & already living in London within short commute of W8
- Good references for recent and relevant nanny work
- Demonstrate longevity in previous similar nanny roles (2 to 5 years in nanny jobs)
- Able to run after small children
- Used to shared and sole charge
- Experienced with multiples of young children
- Baby experience
- Be able to engage in play at floor level for extended periods of time and get up from the floor quickly
