Full-Time Nanny | Knightsbridge, London | January Start

A lovely family based in Knightsbridge are expecting their first child, a baby girl, in January and are looking to welcome an experienced, nurturing and highly professional nanny into their home on a long-term basis.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a career nanny who genuinely enjoys supporting first-time parents and has extensive experience caring for newborns and young babies. The family are hoping to find someone who can become a trusted and valued part of their household for many years to come, providing consistency, reassurance and expert guidance throughout their daughter's early years.

The ideal candidate will be a warm, calm and confident professional with a strong newborn care background and a genuine passion for child development. The family would particularly value someone with substantial hands‑on experience caring for infants from birth, who understands the importance of establishing routines, supporting developmental milestones and creating a loving, secure environment. A nanny who has raised children of her own, or who has extensive long‑term experience caring for babies and young children, would be viewed favourably.

The position is Monday to Friday, typically working from 10:00am to 6:00pm. The family would appreciate a degree of flexibility and would occasionally like one day per week, most likely a Friday, to be worked later, for example 3:00pm to 10:00pm. Any changes to the schedule would always be arranged and agreed in advance.

A Russian‑speaking nanny is strongly preferred. Someone familiar with a Slavic or Eastern European family culture would be particularly welcomed, although this is not essential if the candidate otherwise meets the family's requirements.

The successful nanny will be kind, trustworthy, discreet, proactive and highly dependable, with the confidence to guide first‑time parents whilst respecting their wishes and parenting style. Above all, the family are looking for someone who will form a genuine bond with their daughter and who is seeking a stable, long‑term role with a lovely and appreciative family.
