A warm and welcoming family in South Kensington is seeking an experienced Daily Nanny to care for their 7-month-old baby boy. The role begins on 1 December 2025 and is Monday to Friday, 6.45am to 7.15pm. This is a shared care position working alongside both parents, who are hands-on and involved.

The ideal nanny will be professional, proactive, and highly organised, with a strong record of longevity and a genuine passion for supporting a child’s development through stimulating, age-appropriate activities. The family’s older child, aged two, is cared for by rota nannies, and the rota nanny will also manage the baby’s overnight care. The baby is in an excellent routine with a maternity nurse, who will hand over to the new nanny before finishing her placement.

Duties will include all nursery tasks, such as preparing meals, laundry, and keeping the nursery organised. The nanny should be confident planning developmental activities, attending local baby classes, and encouraging outdoor play and daily outings. Clear communication with both parents is essential, and experience working in shared care and fully staffed UHNW households is required. The role will also include occasional travel to destinations such as the USA and Europe, so flexibility is key.

The successful candidate will be experienced with babies, safety-conscious, dependable, and able to use their own initiative. They should live within an easily commutable distance of South Kensington. A driver would be an advantage, but not essential, and there are no pets in the household. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional nanny seeking a long-term position with a kind and respectful family offering a competitive salary and a supportive environment.

  • Strong ability to create a nurturing, educational atmosphere
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Punctual, reliable, and legally able to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS dated this month (or on DBS update service)
  • Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate
  • Right to work in UK (& already living in London)
  • Good references for recent and relevant nanny work
  • Able to run after small children
  • Be able to engage in play at floor level for extended periods of time and get up from the floor quickly
  • Fluent English
  • Living within reasonable commutable distance

Please note this is a strictly non-smoking position. Discretion and privacy are essential.
