We are delighted to support one of our long-standing returning families in their search for an exceptional nanny. This is a warm, welcoming and fun household, yet also a busy one, and they are seeking a highly capable, confident and loving nanny who brings both structure and joy to the children’s daily lives. The family also employs a housekeeper. You will work collaboratively within this small team, with primary responsibility for their youngest child, a delightful and well-behaved 6-year-old girl. The family has 2 older children (10 & 12) who take the coach to school and back and are away all day. The family places the highest value on kindness, trustworthiness, reliability, and a genuine ability to build strong, positive relationships with the children. Nanny should speak completely fluent English and German would be helpful.
Role Overview
The nanny will take full charge of the little girl’s daily routine and wellbeing, ensuring a nurturing, stimulating and developmentally supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily care and full routine management for the 6-year-old girl
- Nursery/school drop-off and pick-up
- Managing her after-school schedule, activities and playdates
- Supporting her social development and friendships
- Planning age-appropriate educational and creative activities
- Light organisational tasks relating to the child (bedroom, playroom, clothing)
- Occasional care and more during holidays of course for the older brothers
- Working collaboratively with household staff
- Travelling with the family during school holidays (Germany, Mallorca, English countryside)
