Who We’re Looking For
The family cares more about finding the right person than ticking every box. Their ideal nanny is:
- Warm, nurturing and emotionally attuned—a calm, kind presence the children feel safe with.
- A confident home cook with a genuine interest in children’s nutrition, able to plan balanced weekly meals.
- Engaged in the children’s learning—curious, thoughtful, and happy to support homework and reading.
- Supportive of 11+ preparation (day‑to‑day practice is nanny‑led; academic strategy sits with the tutor).
- Experienced with long‑term roles and understands the rhythm of school‑age children’s routines.
- Organised, proactive and detail‑oriented, with pride in presentation, planning and the small touches that make a household run smoothly.
- Professional with parents, warm with children, and comfortable maintaining healthy boundaries.
- Aesthetic and thoughtful, taking care with how things look and feel — from children’s rooms to birthday setups.
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS (current).
- Paediatric First Aid (current).
- Formal childcare qualification preferred (NNEB, CACHE Level 3, Norland or equivalent).
- Right to work in the UK and already living within short commute.
Salary: £25 gross per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who can stay with us for the long term and become a consistent, loved part of the household.
