Job Description
We are delighted to be assisting one of our long-standing and genuinely lovely client families as they relocate from Central London to Ascot. They are now looking for a live-in Housekeeper/Nanny to join them in their new home, ideally starting as soon as possible. This role is primarily focused on housekeeping and cooking, but also includes providing an extra pair of hands with the children when needed. The family has two young children – a bright and energetic boy aged three and a half, and a sweet one-year-old girl. Both parents are hands-on, but as the father travels frequently for work, additional support will be especially important during those periods.
The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 7.30am to 7.30pm (60 hours per week). The role includes all housekeeping duties such as laundry, ironing, tidying, organising, and some light cleaning. The ideal candidate will also be confident in the kitchen and happy to cook healthy and varied meals for the family. The candidate should be warm, discreet, proactive and efficient, with a calm and helpful presence. The family is offering a salary of £900 gross per week, and a private bedroom and bathroom are provided within the home. While a car is not required for the role, there is parking available if the candidate has one.
Though the focus is on household support, the family is seeking someone who also enjoys being around children and is happy to assist mum with the little ones when needed. This could include helping with routines, activities, and providing cover if mum is busy or dad is away. They would particularly value someone who is used to working in busy households, with previous experience in similar combined roles, and who enjoys being part of a warm and respectful family environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a returning client in a long-term, stable role where you will be appreciated and become a valued part of the family’s daily life. If this sounds like the right fit for you, we’d love to hear from you.
