A warm and welcoming family of six residing in a four-storey residence in Kensington is seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Full-Time Housekeeper to join their fully staffed household. This is a long-term position for someone who takes pride in maintaining a pristine home and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full cleaning and upkeep of the home to a high standard across all floors
- Daily housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface cleaning
- Organising wardrobes and ensuring all clothing and linens are stored and presented correctly
- Overseeing and managing all laundry duties, including washing, drying and organizing (main ironing duties handled by extra help)
- Keeping track of household supplies and reporting when items need replenishment
- Occasionally covering for other staff members (e.g., helping to set the table, picking up children)
- Working independently while maintaining strong communication with the rest of the team
Schedule:
- Full-time, 5 days per week (core hours 3-7pm, but prefer start time of 11am or 12.00)
- Occasional flexibility required, including occasional weekends or evening coverage
