As our programme continues to grow, we’re looking for talented people who share our ambition and want to help bring extraordinary live experiences to audiences around the world.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly organised Events Coordinator to join our team and play an important part in bringing our concerts and productions to life.
This is an opportunity to join an exciting, growing entertainment company and work collaboratively with the people behind an international programme of live shows. From the first conversation with a venue to the final preparations before a performance, your work will help turn ambitious plans into memorable experiences for thousands of people.
What matters most for this role is excellent administrative experience, strong IT skills, clear communication and the ability to keep multiple priorities moving. If you enjoy bringing order to a busy workload and being part of a team working towards something special, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
You will work as part of our Events Office team and collaborate closely with our Head of Events & Operations, Logistics Manager, Programming dept, and Technical Manager to support the planning and preparation of our UK and international programme.
At the heart of the role is making sure the right information reaches the right people at the right time. You will coordinate venue communications, maintain accurate records, and ensure all stakeholders are kept in the loop.
You will largely work from home with a weekly presence at our unit in Liverpool.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate venue and event communications: Manage initial and final venue contacts, confirm call times and arrangements, respond to queries, and distribute clear information to venues, artists and event teams.
- Support Programming and event planning: Complete venue booking forms, maintain programme and event records, track outstanding information, and support the administration of specialist shows and company events.
- Bring together practical event arrangements: Liaise with venues, Logistics and the technical team to confirm equipment, parking and accessibility requirements, and coordinate non technical suppliers such as security and toilet hire.
- Prepare event documentation and materials: Check call sheets, distribute supporting paperwork and ticket information, organise printed materials and signage, and maintain essential supplies.
- Support the wider team: Provide Box Office cover and support accommodation booking when required. Jump in on new projects which require an additional pair or hands.
About You
You will be an accomplished administrator who enjoys a varied workload and takes pride in getting the details right. You will be comfortable switching between tasks, prioritising effectively and taking responsibility for the coordination of a busy events calendar.
Just as importantly, you will be a great team player: approachable, dependable and confident communicating with colleagues, venues and suppliers. Our venue and supplier relationships are foundational to the business and as an Event Coordinator you will be representing Kinda Dusty when dealing with them. Having a friendly, professional and proactive approach is crucial.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Excellent administrative experience, with the capacity to manage a busy workload accurately and efficiently.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, including managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Strong IT skills and confidence using email, spreadsheets, shared documents and online systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, initiative and a calm, practical approach when plans change.
Experience within live events, theatre, music or entertainment would be an advantage.
What We Offer
- Hybrid working (1 day a week on site)
- The opportunity to help deliver world-class concerts and productions in some of the UK and world’s most prestigious venues.
- A varied role working across events, programming, logistics and production within an exciting, fast growing company.
- The chance to make a visible contribution as our international programme continues to expand.
