What You’ll Bring

  • We’re looking for a proactive, confident leader with the qualifications and drive to lead a thriving, compliant, and motivated care service.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a regulated care service.
  • In-depth understanding of CQC frameworks, legislation, and quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills with a people-first mindset.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally (with occasional overnight stays).
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Resilience, flexibility, and a solution-focused approach under pressure.
  • A genuine passion for delivering safe, person-centred, high-quality care.
  • A fully enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations to ensure safe, compliant, and effective service delivery.
  • Inspire, develop, and support your team to achieve excellence in care and professional growth.
  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and audits to maintain outstanding CQC standards.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, PBS leads, and external professionals.
  • Lead service transitions, assessments, and new referrals with creativity and vision.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with families, commissioners, and partners.
  • Ensure quality, compliance, and governance processes are consistently met.
  • Provide hands-on leadership and occasional direct care when needed.
  • Contribute to strategic service development alongside the CEO and senior leadership team.
