Our business provides high-quality complex care services to loved ones with a diverse range of social needs & medical conditions. We support loved ones with Complex Care including Challenging Behaviour, Learning Disabilities, Asperger, Dementia, Autism, Mental health & Social Vulnerability.
Job Role & Description
- Resource Management - Budgeting, staff salaries, including medical supplies & other key resources that support the team providing care.
- Quality Care - Manage teams, providing guidance where necessary, supporting the team by implementing more effective processes, systems, & workflow. Creating & applying appropriate care plans with risk assessments.
- Staff Development & Training - Recruit, select and effectively supervise staff teams to maintain the quality of care provided. Training employees to learn new skills that contribute to the wider success of the business.
- Maintaining Health & Safety - Ensure all provision of services is in line with CQC regulation. Establish health and safety processes and integrate them into the training or onboarding of new service resources. Understand the importance of following policies, procedures & safe working practices.
- Staff Management - Recruitment of new staff and the delegation of tasks to employees. Ensuring that staff are equipped with the necessary skills, through training, experience, and supervision. Delegating key tasks, ensuring that the right individuals are performing their roles.
- Safeguarding best practice - Delivery of a quality service designed to meet the individual needs of all service users. Implementation of restraint reduction plans using our positive behaviour support tools.
- Rota Software Management - Participate in the on-call Rota system.
A successful candidate must have the following Qualifications & Skills:
- Business Management Skills to create an efficient operation that also puts the care of its service users first. Oversee daily operations of running the services. Start-up of new care packages with ongoing monitoring & review.
- Interpersonal Skills - interacting with several key stakeholders including service users, lead support workers & the relatives of clients in their care. Confident with a high energy drive, positive attitude towards a work life balance with a passion for care, helping others. Ability to work under pressure.
- Critical thinking - identify and implement solutions to a range of different problems. Make informed decisions that have the well-being of the service user at their core. Consider different approaches to reaching business goals & implement a variety of different strategies. Carry out initial client assessments.
- Organization skills - Time management, manage both their own time and the time of their employees, prioritizing tasks and delegating them appropriately. Improve the efficiency of services without compromising the health and wellbeing of their service users.
- Qualifications - Minimum requirement Level 4, prefer Level 5 NVQ in Health & Social Care. Good communication & written skills. IT literate, Word, Outlook, Excel & Roster software. Valid DBS or registered with the update service. Full valid UK driving license with 6 points or less.
- Observational skills - understand their service users and identify their needs. Hands‑on approach when assessing service users and creating processes specifically based on their experiences with individual clients.
- Relevant Experience - Care sector & Business studies management experience (3 years minimum). Acknowledge the strengths and weaknesses of their operation, including their staff capabilities and resource management. Use problem‑solving skills to create bespoke solutions. Provide full employment history & references.
