Candidates must have experience of working with children and be prepared to carry out a DBS Enhanced Disclosure.
In the role the candidates will:
- Support other staff in managing pupilbehaviour during recreational and dining activities;
- Report pupil behavioural issues in linewith schools policies;
- Assist pupils to develop theirindependence through specific tasks;
- Communicate with pupils to encourage acceptable behaviour;
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding procedures.
- Provide comfort and support to sick, ill or distressed pupils in linewith school policies;
