Candidates must have experience of working with children and be prepared to carry out a DBS Enhanced Disclosure.

In the role the candidates will:

  • Support other staff in managing pupilbehaviour during recreational and dining activities;
  • Report pupil behavioural issues in linewith schools policies;
  • Assist pupils to develop theirindependence through specific tasks;
  • Communicate with pupils to encourage acceptable behaviour;
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding procedures.
  • Provide comfort and support to sick, ill or distressed pupils in linewith school policies;
