We are seeking a dedicated and organised Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a keen attention to detail, ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment. This role requires proficiency in various computer applications and excellent communication skills to support our staff and clients effectively, all with an excellent phone politeness and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations
- Manage phone calls, emails, and correspondence with professionalism and courtesy
- Yard duties such as direct sales and filling containers
- Welcome and greet visitors, receive deliveries and deal with customers in person
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and paper-based
- Prepare documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Handle clerical duties such as typing, scanning, and photocopying
- Support team members with various projects and tasks as required
Experience
- Computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are required
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
