At Kinbrook Group, we are a fast-growing, PE-backed professional services platform operating across the financial and accounting sector. As part of an ambitious buy-and-build strategy, we are acquiring and integrating firms to drive scale, operational efficiency, and enhanced service delivery.

We are now looking for a Transformation Business Analyst who wants to build a career at the centre of a high-growth transformation environment, gaining exposure to M&A, value creation, and technology-enabled change from day one.

The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity for a high-potential, early-career analyst to join a central transformation team driving strategic initiatives across a rapidly expanding PE-backed group.

You will work across a diverse portfolio of projects spanning process improvement, data-driven insight, M&A integration, and automation initiatives. The role offers exceptional exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to develop a strong consulting-style toolkit in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Business and process analysis across core operational functions
  • M&A support, including operational due diligence and integration planning
  • Data analysis to identify performance improvements and value creation opportunities
  • Supporting technology-enabled transformation, including automation and AI initiatives
  • Contributing to the design and delivery of scalable operating models across the Group

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Mapping and analysing end-to-end business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
  • Documenting current and future state workflows, systems, and operating models
  • Supporting M&A activity through operational due diligence and integration analysis
  • Analysing financial and operational data to generate insights and recommendations
  • Supporting the development of business cases, benefits tracking, and value models
  • Assisting in the design and implementation of process improvements and automation opportunities
  • Contributing to the creation of executive-ready presentations, reports, and documentation
  • Supporting technology and AI-enabled initiatives, including workflow design and tool development
  • Engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and support delivery of change initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years’ experience in top-tier consulting (strategy & operations) or similar analytical roles
  • Strong background in business analysis, process mapping, and structured problem solving
  • Experience in transformation, system implementation, or M&A environments (highly desirable)
  • Strong analytical capability with confidence working with data and insights
  • Ability to structure complex problems into clear, logical outputs and recommendations
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of process mapping methodologies (e.g. BPMN or equivalent)
  • Exposure to or interest in automation and AI tools (e.g. Power Platform, Zapier, Claude, Codex)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and visual, with an eye for detail

Why This Role Stands Out

  • High-growth PE-backed environment with genuine exposure to buy-and-build strategy
  • Direct involvement in M&A, integration, and value creation activity
  • Broad exposure across transformation, data, process, and technology initiatives
  • Opportunity to build a consulting-style skillset in an in-house strategy function
  • Close access to senior leadership and high-impact decision-making forums
  • Fast-paced environment with strong learning curve and accelerated development
