We are seeking a commercially driven and highly analytical FP&A professional to support a key period of strategic growth and operational change within a growing professional services organisation. This is a high-impact interim opportunity for an experienced finance leader who combines strong commercial acumen with hands-on transformation experience, particularly across M&A activity and finance systems implementation. The successful candidate will work closely with the CFO and senior leadership team, helping drive business-critical initiatives across finance, operations, reporting, and integration activity. The role is ideally suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments, is comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, and can navigate complex business change with an agile and solutions-focused mindset.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience supporting or leading M&A activity, including involvement across the full acquisition lifecycle
- End-to-end finance system implementation experience (“cradle to grave”), ideally involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Strong commercial finance, FP&A, or strategic finance background
- Experience operating within growing, changing, or private equity-backed businesses would be highly advantageous
- The ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making across the business
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work through ambiguity and evolving priorities
- Has worked in a professional services organisation, ideally Accountancy
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a recognised accounting qualification in either: CIMA, ACA or ACCA.
You will work directly with the Group CFO and leadership team, contributing to strategic decision-making while helping shape scalable financial and operational processes for the next stage of growth.
Working Arrangement

- Expected attendance in the office 2 days per week for strategic planning and leadership meetings
- Must be able to join within 2 weeks
