The Business Development Executive – Lead Generation will play a key role in supporting growth across Kinbrook Group through ethical, relationship-led lead generation and business development support. Working as part of the Kinbrook Centre of Excellence (CoE) Business Development team, this individual will proactively identify and engage with prospective clients who are ideally suited to the services offered across the Kinbrook Group. The role is focused on building meaningful first-touch relationships, understanding client needs, and connecting prospects with the most appropriate accountants, advisors, and specialists across the Group.

This role supports Kinbrook’s Our Golden Thread approach, ensuring clients receive connected, outcomes-based support throughout their business and personal journeys. The successful candidate will help create opportunities that align with our values-driven, collaborative, and client-centric culture.

In addition to direct lead generation activity, the Business Development Executive will support the execution of lead generation efforts across the Group. This includes researching target markets, building prospect databases and target lists, supporting the preparation of business development proposals and campaign plans, and producing pipeline and performance reporting.

Please note: Location for this role is flexible across any Kinbrook business offices. This is an initial 12 months Fixed Term Contract.

Scope: This role operates across the full Kinbrook Group and supports all businesses with a focus on audit, accounting and tax services. The successful candidate will work closely with local leaders, team members, and service line specialists to support coordinated lead generation campaigns and client engagement initiatives.

Focus Areas:

  • Ethical lead generation and campaign support across Kinbrook Group businesses
  • Outbound engagement with prospective clients through phone, email, and digital channels
  • Building trusted first-touch relationships with prospective clients
  • Researching target markets and building lead generation target lists
  • Supporting the development of business development proposals and growth initiatives
  • Pipeline reporting, lead tracking, and performance analysis
  • Supporting outcomes-based client journeys and referral pathways
  • CRM management, lead tracking, and campaign administration
  • Supporting group-wide growth initiatives and strategic business development campaigns

Key Accountabilities & Measures:

  • Support the execution of lead generation plans, proposals, and campaign recommendations for Group businesses (Measure: Quality and implementation of proposals; contribution to campaign outcomes)
  • Research target sectors, businesses, and decision-makers to build and maintain lead generation target lists (Measure: Number, quality, and conversion potential of target prospects identified)
  • Produce regular pipeline, campaign, and business development performance reports for leaders and Group stakeholders (Measure: Accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness of reporting outputs)
  • Analyse lead generation activity and provide recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and conversion rates (Measure: Improvements in campaign performance and lead-to-opportunity conversion)

Skills and Experience required:

  • Previous experience in a business development, lead generation, client engagement, or sales support role preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and confident telephone manner
  • Comfortable engaging with senior business owners and professional clients
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and CRM discipline
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multiple teams and locations
  • Commercially aware with an interest in professional services and client advisory businesses
  • Positive, proactive, and relationship-focused approach
