As a pivotal member of the executive leadership team, you will be responsible for crafting and executing a people strategy that seamlessly integrates with our broader business goals, driving growth, and facilitating the successful alignment of talent and culture—especially in the context of mergers and acquisitions. Your leadership will be crucial in attracting, retaining, and developing top-tier talent, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture, and ensuring that our workforce remains engaged and aligned with our company’s vision.

As we continue to expand and evolve at Kinbrook, this role is instrumental in leading the development of a robust human resources strategy that supports our ambitious goals. Your strategic mindset will drive innovation in how we attract and develop talent, ensuring that every aspect of the employee experience aligns with our commitment to excellence and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

In this strategic role, you will partner closely with leadership to identify talent gaps, anticipate future workforce needs, and implement organizational changes that align with business objectives. You will spearhead talent acquisition strategies to attract and recruit top-tier professionals and build a sustainable pipeline of future talent through apprenticeship and graduate programs. Ensuring smooth onboarding, performance management, and continuous development will be central to your efforts, fostering an environment where employees can thrive and grow.

You will also play a key role in shaping our culture, focusing on employee engagement, wellbeing, and work-life balance while championing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Your expertise in compensation and benefits will ensure that our offerings are competitive, compliant, and aligned with our financial strategy, while also considering regional nuances and the impact of acquisitions. By fostering a positive, high-performance work environment, you will address employee concerns and build lasting relationships within the organisation.

About you

We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in the role:

  • Has worked for a Partner led organisation, and have PE (Private Equity) experience
  • Desirable experience in Professional Services
  • Extensive experience with multiple Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Group level CPO experience, leading the People function for multiple, separate businesses across multiple locations
  • Deep understanding of talent management practices in a complex and competitive market.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
