Stockport are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their busy and growing team based in Stalybridge.

The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient and professional delivery of goods while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to operate
- Arrive on time for all scheduled duties and communicate any delays or issues to the Traffic Office
- Follow company procedures, customer requirements and the Highway Code at all times
- Maintain high standards of health and safety
- Complete all deliveries and collections as specified on manifests
- Comply with EU Tachograph and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations
- Keep your vehicle clean, tidy and presentable
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Full LGV C+E (Class 1) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional, reliable and safety-focused approach
