Kinaxia Logistics is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Banking and Reconciliations Clerk to join our growing finance team in Manchester! What You’ll Do: In this fast-paced and key role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that all transactions are posted and reconciled accurately. You’ll work closely with the sales ledger team, chasing payments, performing bank reconciliations, and investigating discrepancies. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys maintaining accuracy while supporting the wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and reconcile incoming payments, ensuring accurate ledger entries for VAT and company returns.
- Chase customers for receipts and handle any missing remittance advices.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Investigate discrepancies and work with the team to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain and update financial spreadsheets for reporting purposes.
- Handle intercompany invoicing and ensure everything aligns correctly.
- Deliver results by meeting departmental KPIs and contributing to team targets.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on unmatched payments and follow up with the necessary correspondence.
- Support the month-end financial process to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Be ready to assist with other duties in the Accounts Receivable Team as needed.
