Role Details

  • £60,000 per annum
  • Night shifts
  • Monday to Friday
  • £230.77 per shift

Your Role

As an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you’ll be a key part of our operation, helping to ensure goods are delivered safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle is safe and roadworthy
  • Arriving on time and communicating any issues with the traffic office
  • Following company procedures, customer requirements and the Highway Code
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety
  • Completing deliveries and collections as scheduled
  • Complying with EU tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations
  • Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy and well maintained

What We’re Looking For

  • A valid LGV C+E (Class 1) licence
  • Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
  • A valid digital tachograph card
  • Good communication skills
  • A reliable, professional and positive approach
  • ADR certification desirable but not required (£10 per day additional for ADR work)
