Kinaxia Logistics are looking for an operations Manager to oversee our K Link operation at Panic Transport.

Role and responsibilities:

  • To support the Senior Management team with management of effective delivery of K-Link with indirect responsibility for delivering the budgeted cost reductions.
  • To support the operation overseeing the K-Link function, to embed, develop and grow the strategic vision.
  • Work closely with your colleagues in the execution of K Link operation strategy by influencing collaborative working to meet goals agreed with the Managing Director and the board.
  • Engage and communicate with all sites and Partnerlink companies to achieve the development of K-Link.
  • Develop IT solutions to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain the K-Link profit and loss accounts to ensure accurate data is always available.
  • Monitor and amend all delivery postcodes and volume mix to maximise profit.
  • Introduce direct loads to enhance operational and service levels.
  • Communicate effectively with all key stakeholders of any service issues recommending improvements to implement.
  • Review volume levels to scale up during peak periods.
  • Manage and control the K-Link operation to ensure it is being delivered within the agreed Standard Operating Procedure.

Knowledge and Experience required:

  • Cross Dock, Network and Groupage Transport industry
  • Working knowledge of transport management system, preferably Stirling
  • Proven operational experience of logistics services
  • Experience of analysing and solving business problems
  • Enhancing and developing customer satisfaction and business growth
  • Project Management
  • Proven operational experience of cross dock, network or groupage transport industry
  • GCSE’s at grade A-C in English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent)
