The Role
As a Drivers Mate, you'll support the driver in delivering and collecting goods safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and safety.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the driver with the safe and timely delivery and collection of goods
- Accurately completing Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation and recording any shortages or damages
- Supporting daily vehicle checks and defect reporting to help ensure vehicles remain safe and roadworthy
- Safely loading, securing, and unloading goods while following correct manual handling procedures
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times and representing Kinaxia professionally
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Following all Health & Safety regulations and customer site requirements
- Working efficiently to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced as a Drivers Mate, Driver's Assistant, or within a multi-drop delivery environment
- Experienced in a warehouse or logistics setting
- Confident with manual handling duties
- Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
- Flexible and willing to work as part of a team
- Well-organised with strong time management skills
- A confident communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Professional, respectful, and customer-focused
