Kinaxia Logistics are recruiting a Healthy, Safety and Quality Manager to join their team. The purpose of this role will be to supervise and maintain full compliance in all aspects of Quality and Compliance, in accordance predominantly with BRCGS Storage and Distribution Issue 4 and ISO ****:****.

Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week, £47k per annum, 3 site coverage - Manchester and Warrington.

About the job:

  • Provide advice to senior managers on all quality matters and work with each department to achieve the sites quality objectives.
  • Monitor and assist all employees to ensure they have the ability to complete their daily tasks in accordance with any Quality, Compliance and Health and Safety regulations without taking, or causing any additional risks.
  • Manage the production and reporting of Quality KPIs and ensure the sites are adhering to the agreed KPIs.
  • Complete on-site audits against ISO ****, *****, ***** and BRCGS standards and work closely with the site senior management team to produce and implement any required improvement plans to meet all legal requirements.
  • Support the site in achieving and maintaining any client specific standards that may be required e.g. SMETA 6 and Organic Standards in order to provide a first-class service.
  • Provide support and input into business tenders and liaise with customers as and when required to ensure any specific quality requirements can be achieved.
  • Support with audit standards which will support any BRCGS and ISO internal and external audits.
  • Provide support and carry out investigations as and when required into non-conformances to ensure that robust corrective and preventative actions are in place.
  • Work collaboratively with other sites to share ideas and ensure best practice is being implemented across the Group.
  • Assist with the roll out of other management systems across the Group e.g. ISO *****, ISO ***** to ensure best practice is being implemented.
  • Monitor and enforce Health and Safety policies and procedures on site.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety inspections.
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Deliver site training and toolbox talks to promote a safety-first mindset.

Your knowledge and experience:

  • Management of ISO **** and BRCGS certification.
  • HACCP, ISO *****, ISO ***** standards.
  • HACCP level 2 desirable.
  • BRCGS Storage and Distribution Issue 4 Awareness essential.
  • ISO ****: **** Awareness essential.
  • NEBOSH certificate or equivalent (essential).
  • Continuous improvement.
  • Completing risk assessments and implementing policies and procedures.
  • 5S, Lean Management, Six Sigma etc.
