Kinaxia are looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join their team at their site in Telford. The role of the Operations Manager will be to support the Managing Director/General Manager overseeing agreed business operations for the profitable development and growth of the business within the broad strategy set by the Board.
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 52.5 hours per week

About The Job:
- Work closely with your colleagues in the execution of company business strategies to meet goals agreed with the Managing Director and the board.
- Support the communication and implementation of Company and Kinaxia Group policies and regulatory guidelines throughout the business as cascaded by Kinaxia HQ and ensure adherence to safeguard the Company’s compliance.
- Assist with the development and motivation of staff to create a workforce with the relevant skill set, where potential is being developed, effective succession plans are in place, and employees are contributing to the overall performance of the business.
- Assist with the management of resources and costs effectively to maximise the profitability of the Company.
- Support the operational performance of the Company by managing the day-to-day operation in accordance with agreed processes and procedures to deliver high customer service levels.
- Consistently analyse the current processes and procedures and implement continuous improvements to drive commercial compliance and effectiveness.
Your Knowledge and Experience:
- Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) or equivalent would be desirable.
- Working knowledge of the Highway Code, EU tachograph requirements, Working Time Regulations, Road Transport Regulations.
- Experience in the transport and warehousing industry.
- Working knowledge of transport and warehouse management systems.
- Proven operational experience of logistics services.
- Management of multi-functional teams.
- Experience of analysing and solving business problems.
- Enhancing and developing customer satisfaction and business growth.
- Ability to demonstrate, understand and apply our Company values: Safe, Talented, Attentive, Reliable.
