Maidens of Telford are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their team at their site in Telford. The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for providing proactive financial information to all employees, ensuring compliance with company procedures, policies, and financial legislation.

About The Job
- Process all paperwork ensuring payments and receipts comply with procedures and are completed accurately and promptly;
- Respond to queries from customers, suppliers, and employees, providing accurate information to maintain excellent customer service;
- Input, check, reconcile data, and resolve discrepancies in relevant systems to ensure 100% accuracy;
- Assist in developing processes and procedures to improve financial department efficiency;
- Audit the accuracy of financial data regularly to ensure standards are met;
- Monitor information to ensure it is up-to-date, securely stored, and GDPR compliant.
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Basic knowledge of accountancy principles
- Knowledge of payroll systems (preferable)
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
