Kinara is supporting the recruitment of an Account Manager Clinical Business for a global life science and cell therapy technology organisation. For over three decades, the company has developed advanced technologies used across biomedical research, translational medicine and cell and gene therapy, supporting scientists and clinicians working to develop next generation therapies for cancer and other serious diseases. The organisation employs more than 4,800 people globally across more than 50 countries and is widely recognised for enabling advanced cell therapy and translational research workflows.

This role will focus on supporting clinical and translational customers across London, Oxford, Cambridge, the South West UK and Ireland.

The Role

The Account Manager Clinical Business will be responsible for driving sales of advanced biomedical and clinical research solutions into leading cell therapy centres, translational research laboratories and clinical institutions. Working as part of the UK and Ireland commercial team, the role combines territory ownership, strategic account development and scientific engagement with key opinion leaders and clinical researchers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with existing clinical and translational research customers
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across cell therapy centres, hemato oncology groups and advanced therapy research laboratories
  • Engage with key opinion leaders and clinical researchers to support the adoption of innovative biomedical technologies
  • Introduce and present new products and solutions to both existing and prospective customers
  • Deliver product demonstrations, workshops and seminars in collaboration with clinical application specialists
  • Hold full revenue responsibility for the assigned territory
  • Represent the organisation at scientific conferences, trade fairs and industry events
  • Provide market feedback and customer insight to support commercial strategy and regional market analysis

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in life sciences, biomedicine or a related scientific discipline
  • Experience selling biomedical, life science or scientific products is advantageous
  • Understanding of immunology, cell therapy, hemato oncology or translational medicine environments is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage scientific and clinical stakeholders
  • Self motivated and capable of managing a territory independently
  • Based within the region with willingness to travel extensively across the UK and Ireland

Location and Travel

Home based role covering London, Oxford, Cambridge, the South West UK and Ireland with regular travel across the territory.
