Role Overview
Responsible for leading the end-to-end procurement function, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships and ensuring the organisation procures high-quality goods and services in a cost-effective, compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategy and governance.
- Manage indirect procurement activities.
- Lead supplier sourcing, tendering and contract negotiations.
- Build and manage supplier relationships and KPI performance.
- Oversee the procure-to-pay (P2P) process.
- Monitor procurement budgets, spend and reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure procurement complies with legal, ethical and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement or similar (or equivalent experience).
- CIPS qualification desirable.
- Minimum 3 years' procurement experience.
- Experience within a regulated industry such as Medical Devices, Healthcare or Life Sciences preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO-regulated environments advantageous.
