A global leader in specialist In Vitro Diagnostics is seeking a General Manager to lead and grow its UK business, with a particular focus on Autoimmunity and Infectious Diseases. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced diagnostics executive to take full ownership of the UK organisation. Reporting to international leadership, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth, leading a high-performing team and strengthening the company's position across NHS laboratories, reference laboratories and key diagnostic accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the UK business with full P&L responsibility.
  • Develop and execute the UK commercial strategy across the Autoimmunity and Infectious Diseases portfolio.
  • Lead, develop and inspire the UK sales, marketing and support teams.
  • Build senior relationships with NHS laboratory networks, pathology leaders, procurement teams and key opinion leaders.
  • Deliver sustainable revenue growth while increasing market share.
  • Identify new commercial opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Work closely with global leadership on business planning, forecasting and product launches.
  • Ensure operational excellence and compliance across the UK business.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer value and growth.

Requirements

  • Significant commercial leadership experience within the In Vitro Diagnostics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK Autoimmunity and/or Infectious Diseases diagnostics markets.
  • Previous experience leading a UK commercial organisation as a General Manager, Country Manager, Commercial Director or Business Unit Leader.
  • Demonstrable success growing revenue, developing teams and delivering strategic business objectives.
  • Strong understanding of NHS laboratory structures, procurement frameworks and distributor management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
