Kinara Group is supporting a leading organisation within diagnostics as they expand their applications team across the UK. We’re hiring a Field Application Specialist to support a broad portfolio of IVD products across multiple disciplines, working closely with laboratories and clinical stakeholders.

This is a customer-facing position focused on supporting installation, training and ongoing application support across a wide range of diagnostic systems. You will act as the technical expert, ensuring successful adoption and performance of products within clinical laboratory environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site installation, training and application support across multiple IVD platforms
  • Support customers across disciplines such as immunology, clinical chemistry, molecular and specialist assays
  • Act as the primary technical contact for laboratory teams and end users
  • Troubleshoot application and workflow issues to ensure optimal system performance
  • Work closely with sales teams to support evaluations, demonstrations and new business opportunities
  • Deliver product training and ongoing support to laboratory staff
  • Support validation, verification and implementation of new systems
  • Maintain strong relationships with key laboratory stakeholders

  • Experience within IVD, diagnostics or clinical laboratory environments
  • Strong understanding of laboratory workflows across one or more disciplines (immunology, chemistry, molecular etc.)
  • Background in applications, technical support or laboratory roles
  • Comfortable working in a customer-facing, field-based role
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
