Three Business Development Associates are being recruited to cover the North, Midlands and South.
These are home-based positions with regular regional travel, including client meetings, conferences, exhibitions and networking events.

You will work closely with an experienced Area Manager, gaining exposure to an established pipeline, existing relationships and the wider dental market.
Job Description / Role Overview
As a Business Development Associate, you will work alongside an experienced Area Manager to develop new business and grow the organisation’s presence within your region.
Initially, the role will focus heavily on learning the dental indemnity market, understanding the products and developing your commercial and sales knowledge.
You will gain exposure to an established regional pipeline and existing client relationships, attending meetings alongside the Area Manager before gradually taking ownership of your own opportunities and customer relationships.
Your responsibilities will include
- Developing new business opportunities with dentists, dental practices and healthcare groups.
- Following up leads, enquiries and introductions and converting these into new clients.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Attending client meetings, conferences, exhibitions and networking events.
- Developing your own sales pipeline and, over time, building a personal book of business.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and managing your own sales activity.
- Working closely with sales, underwriting, client service and advocacy teams.
As your knowledge and confidence develop, you will take increasing responsibility for your own territory and opportunities, with a clear pathway towards more senior sales and territory management positions.
Person Specification
Previous experience within insurance or dentistry is not essential.
We are primarily looking for someone with the right personality, commercial ability and ambition who wants to develop a career in sales.
The ideal candidate will be

Previous B2B sales, business development, account management, insurance, financial services or healthcare experience would be advantageous.
However, candidates earlier in their sales career will also be considered where they can demonstrate the right attitude, personality, commercial ability and potential.
A full UK driving licence is required.
Package
The role offers a competitive basic salary with performance-related bonus/commission, alongside a car allowance, pension, laptop and mobile phone.
Business travel and relevant expenses will be covered, while structured training and ongoing mentoring will be provided by an experienced Area Manager.
There is a clear opportunity to progress into more senior sales and territory management positions as you develop within the business.
