About Willett House Staines
Our Staines surgery is the central hub for our 8-branch practice. We boast state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, including an endoscopy/key-hole surgery and orthopaedic suites, CT scanner, dental x-rays and dedicated dog and cat wards and surgical preparation areas.
What We're Looking For
A highly motivated and confident individual, eager to enhance their existing skills in a diverse workload. You'll play a crucial role to support the Veterinary team to provide a gold standard of care for our patients and owners. A clean, manual driving license is a must as this role will involve travelling to work at any of our eight sites and use of our vehicles. The successful applicant will need to be confident and possess excellent interpersonal skills, as the position also includes some reception work alongside the Client Care team.
We offer the opportunity for Animal Nursing Assistants to enrol onto accredited courses to advance in their careers and gain vital knowledge and skills. The right candidate can then progress onto a Veterinary Nursing Diploma to achieve Registered Veterinary Nurse status.
Position Details
- Full Time position - 40 hour week
- 8-hour shifts covering various roles between 7:30 AM and 10:00 PM
- 1:4 Saturdays with a day off in lieu
- No out-of-hours (OOH) as VetsNow emergency clinic on-site
- Primarily based at our Staines branch, with occasional work in other branches
