About Willett House Staines: Our Staines branch is the heart of our 8‑practice group and is home to an excellent team and top‑tier facilities. From advanced endoscopy and orthopaedic suites to a CT scanner and dental X‑ray, we are equipped to provide a comprehensive and high standard of veterinary care.
What We Are Looking For: A kind, enthusiastic, and eager second‑year Student Veterinary Nurse – excited to build on their existing skills. The role involves a variety of clinical tasks including anaesthesia, inpatient care, lab work, and nurse consultations.
Position Details:
- Full‑time position (40 hour week) with dedicated day to attend college.
- 8‑hour shifts between 7:30 AM and 10:00 PM.
- 1:7 Saturdays with a day off in lieu.
- No out‑of‑hours (OOH) as VetsNow emergency clinic on‑site.
In Return, We Offer:
- Salary at National Minimum wage / Living Wage (dependent on age).
- Holiday – 5.6 weeks (inclusive of bank holidays).
- Company pension scheme following probation.
- Contractual sick pay.
- Staff discount scheme.
- Regular team socials.
Requirements:
- Driving licence.
- Training for a Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing – you must already be enrolled with a training provider.
