Kin Vet Community, established in June 2023, is a vet-led collective of 19 veterinary practices in Essex, Suffolk, Hertfordshire, Kent and Southwest London. We provide compassionate, high-quality care for pets and their owners with a strong focus on providing collaborative support for our clinicians. Swayne & Partners are a well-established group of three small animal veterinary practices with one larger feeder hospital practice based in and around Suffolk. The four practices work hand in hand providing exceptional care to its clients and patients, with day surgeries at each branch and in-house OOH and emergency care via the hospital branch in Bury St Edmunds.
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly practice in Newmarket, with support across all branches when required. About the Role:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to a diverse range of patients, supported by the Head Nurse and the resources and network of our wider veterinary community. You’ll enjoy the broad range of experience available, but also benefit from being part of a larger, well-established team with opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Veterinary surgeons assess the Clients pets' health and provide diagnosis and treatment.
- Advise clients on preventative care and long-term health management for their pets.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and support staff to provide outstanding care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
- Take part in group-wide initiatives, including CPD training and best practice sharing.
- Work closely with the Head Nurse to ensure the practice consistently upholds the highest standards of care.
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients, providing them with the information and support they need.
- Support veterinary surgeons carry out a range of surgical procedures, from pre-op, post-op and recovery.

We are seeking an experienced, confident and compassionate Veterinary Nurse who is motivated by providing high-quality care and building lasting relationships with their team, clients and their pets. - A competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience
