We are partnering exclusively with an established and customer-focused healthcare services business in the Ipswich area, looking for a Marketing Executive who is passionate about connecting with people and making a difference in the local community. This isn’t your average marketing job – you will play an integral part in both community engagement and content creation, helping to build strong relationships with local communities and raise awareness of key services.
You will be the face of the brand in Ipswich and the surrounding areas, attending local community events, creating content, and helping to bring the business's services to life for a wider audience. It’s a great opportunity to build on your marketing experience and have a real influence in the community.
- Organising local events, including open days, coffee mornings, and pop-up clinics.
- Building strong community relationships with local groups, charities, and businesses.
- Creating engaging social media content and supporting digital campaigns.
- Writing high-quality, SEO-optimised content for web, email, and marketing materials.
- Collaborating with external agencies for content creation, including digital ads.
1-3 years of marketing experience, ideally with a focus on content creation and social media.
- Strong written communication and SEO skills.
- Comfort with CMS platforms (no technical skills required).
- You love engaging with your community, whether it’s in person or online, and you’re confident enough to handle any situation that comes your way.
- You’ll also be a solid all-around marketer with at least 1-3 years of experience, especially in content creation and social media.
- You should have strong writing skills, an understanding of SEO, and the ability to manage content across platforms.
- While a solid understanding of PPC/paid ads would be a bonus, it’s not essential, as the business has a dedicated agency to manage this.
This role is a bit of a lone ranger, as you will be working remotely and managing your own schedule. This role gives you the opportunity to make a tangible impact in the local community while developing your marketing skills in a flexible, supportive environment.
Due to the nature of the role and travel requirements, this position would suit candidates based in Ipswich, or commutable towns within Suffolk such as Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Woodbridge, Colchester, Sudbury, Felixstowe, Hadleigh, Martlesham, Framlingham, and Leiston. A full UK driving licence is required, as regular travel to local clinics and events will be part of the role, but a £5,000 car allowance is offered to compensate this.
